Overlooking the community of Banff and six different mountain ranges from the summit of Sulphur Mountain, the Banff Gondola experience is nothing short of breathtaking.

Our staff here are ultimate hosts, creating memories for our guests on the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk, our hands-on interpretive centre and theatre, and our three unique mountaintop restaurants.

All About the Gondola

Location

Perched above the town on Mountain Avenue, the Banff Gondola is a 4 km (a five-minute drive) from downtown Banff.

Getting Around

Gondola staff who live in Banff receive a complimentary ROAM transit bus pass that gets you to and from work. Some of our team members prefer to live in the nearby community of Canmore (20 minutes away) and are able to get a discounted ROAM pass if they would like.

Staff Accommodation

Our staff residences welcome a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community. Our residences have furnished bedrooms, common areas for socializing, and space for quiet time. Most of our accommodations are dormitory style, which means you will have one to four roommates with shared washroom, kitchen and common areas. Staff accommodation fees start from $15/day and are automatically payroll deducted. Water, power, heat, and basic Wi-Fi are included in staff accommodation fees.
