Adventurous spirits come from all over the world to spend a night or two in the heart of Denali National Park. But our team spends the entire summer here.

We’re the naturalists and hiking guides, hosts and culinarians, friends and confidantes to daytime passengers of the Denali Backcountry Adventure and overnight guests of the Lodge. We take pride in offering a cozy and comfortable retreat in the midst of one of the world’s wildest landscapes.

All About the Lodge

Location

This place defines remote. Nestled in the former gold mining camp of Kantishna, the lodge is one of just a few properties deep within Denali at the end of the Park Road. Far from civilization, the lodge is currently accessibly only by plane.

Summer Guests

Our small but mighty team hosts 200 lucky guests from June through September.

Staff Housing & Meals

Stay cozy in staff housing with 1 – 2 roomies per room, including some couples’ accommodation. We’ve got you covered with common areas, laundry and an employee dining room on site that serves up three square meals per day.

Getting Around

Two feet and a heartbeat — that’s all you need to explore the surroundings here. There are no nearby towns, but plenty of hiking trails to keep you busy. Other activities include gold-panning, fishing and biking.
